Medium-length hair is the perfect transitional length to try out if you want to lose some length but don’t want to go too short. It pairs amazingly with natural textures–whether you have wavy or straight hair–that we love with a subtle swooping part.

2. Wavy Highlights

We can’t get enough of how all of the goodness that’s going on with this hairstyle. This combination of natural (or crafted waves) and subtle peekaboo highlights really sets the tone for this modern look. A  must-try option for spring.

3. Embracing Curls

Curlfriend, rock your natural curls! We love this look, as seen at NYFW, that was all about defined and moveable curls. 6. Light Buzz

And then there were the short hair trends that we adored on the runway that featured a combination of bobs, pixies and modern buzz cuts. 7. Baby Afro

NYFW was run rampant with so many ponytails and we’re upset about that at all. This classic style is not going away but we love how the stylists’ reinvented this look, showcasing everything from day-to-night sleek ponytails and deep side part ponytails and more.

9. Middle Part

Another trend that we saw all over NYFW was the was the middle part. Worn with stick straight hair or on a wavy mane, this look is all about a controlled part that showcases the symmetry of your face.

10. Strawberry Blonde

Ready to switch up your blonde hair but not sure what hue to try out? Why not try strawberry blonde hair as a way to brighten up your face as you test out this new cool, trendy shade.

11. Platinum Hair

If you want to lighten up and channel the ’90s then this look is all you. We love this white-like hue that looks stunning on paler skin tones.

12. Twisted Hairstyles

You’ve done the twist and the half-up look. Now it’s time to try this cool NYFW-inspired hairdo that combines the two styles. As seen at the Jenny Packham show, this style is all about elegance that we can see making its way amongst the wedding scene in 2017.

13. Twisted Bun

The messy bun will always have a warm place in our hearts, but if you’re looking to rock something a little different, you’re going to want to try out this chic twisted bun. This style incorporates the braid with the twist that hangs low. Some of those wispy hairs do come out to play, making this style a bun combo of elegance and laid-back flair.

You’ll be channeling some major ethereal Goddess vibes with this look from the alice+olivia show. This whimsical style is all about a romantic halo braid with its swooping hairs that subtly frame the face. Gorgeous for wedding, music festivals and graduations, this is definitely one of our favorite diverse hairstyles from NYFW.

16. Middle-Parted Romantic Ponytail

We mentioned how the ponytail reigned supreme at NYFW. And while the slicked-back look is typically connected to sleek styles, we loved this variation on that trend where we saw a middle-parted slick ponytail at the Jonathan Simkhai show.
